Policy Development

This is where our grassroots approach comes into effect.
Through our policy development programs, we surface issues
from our members to identify, discuss, and prioritize issues
which are of importance to the members as a whole.

Policy Implementation

We conduct meetings with local and state goverment officials to share our members' concerns and discuss their prioritized issues.

​

  • We meet with our County Supervisors annually to discuss the County budget.

  • We make a yearly visit to the State Capitol to meet with our county legislators to let them know our priorities for the year.

  • We visit our national legislators in D.C. bi-annually to discuss current issues.

​

Policy implementation seeks to address issues that affect our members, both farmer and non-farmer.
